Drive System Design to attend the 9th International CTI Symposium

30th November - 1st December 2010

Following successful exhibition and presentation in 2008 & 2009, Drive System Design will again be attending the CTI Symposium in 2010.

The “Innovative Automotive Transmissions Hybrid & Electric Drives” Symposium showcases the latest technical developments in automotive transmissions.

Located at booth number 12 throughout the symposium, Drive System Design experts will be exhibiting prototypes of our torque vectoring differential and a demonstration of Camcon Technology’s park brake actuator, in addition to showcasing the company capabilities in driveline design, validation and production.

Drive System Design will be presenting a paper on:

  • Design methods for electric vehicle transmissions
    • Specific challenges facing design of electric vehicle transmissions
    • Factors influencing choice of number of gear ratios
    • Design of ultra low noise gear pairs
    • Considerations for e-machine characteristics

Furthermore we will also be presenting posters on:

  • Next generation of automated manual transmission concepts
  • Dynamically adjustable differential with torque vectoring
