John Morton to Engineer in 2011 STCC
DSD’s John Morton will be working with Flash Engineering in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship this season. John will continue his successful partnership with Colin Turkington and build on their successes in the 2009 BTCC and 2010 WTCC. There will be plenty of new challenges for the pair with a full range of new circuits to get to grips with as well as working alongside a new team.
"I am looking forward to working with Colin again and with a new team in Flash Engineering. Flash are a well organised and dynamic team and we have a lot to learn from them especially in the early part of the season. The Scandinavian championship will be a big challenge, it’s shaping up to be the strongest of all the touring car championships this season."
Pre-season testing will begin at Knutstorp, Sweden on the 4th of April with the first race being held at Jyllandsringen, Denmark on the 22nd and 23rd of April.
