Drive System Design have developed the second generation production intent park lock actuator for Camcon Automotive. This is based on Camcon's Binary Actuation technology which uses an innovative electromagnetic linear actuation system with zero power consumption at both latching conditions.

DSD’s John Morton will be working with Flash Engineering in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship this season. John will continue his successful partnership with Colin Turkington and build on their successes in the 2009 BTCC and 2010 WTCC. There will be plenty of new challenges for the pair with a full range of new circuits to get to grips with as well as working alongside a new team.

On Sunday 4th October, a jubilant Colin Turkington was crowned the British Touring Car Champion 2009 in an extremely exciting season finale at Brands Hatch. Having led the championship since mid-season, Colin, in his WSR prepared Team RAC BMW 320si overcame huge pressure from his rivals Jason Plato and Fabrizio Giovanardi to finally take the honours in the very last nail biting race of the season. On clinching the championship, Colin's first thanks went to Dick Bennetts, WSR and his race engineer, DSD's very own John Morton.
