Drive System Design will once again join the speaker line-up at CTI’s annual Automotive Transmissions Symposium taking place in Berlin, Germany from 5th – 6th December 2017. DSD’s Head of Design Matt Hole, Chief Engineer for Analysis George Scott, and Senior Design Engineer David Yates will each present research projects and design concepts recently undertaken at the consultancy, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary throughout 2017.
The sessions that will be presented are:
- Low cost, low drag passive lubrication system develop with smoothed particle hydrodynamics. Day 1, 3pm, Oils, Lubrication & Efficiency Stream
- Ultra-lightweight design of a single speed EV transmission. Day 1, 3.30pm, EV Transmission & High-Voltage Stream
- Quiet, efficient and power dense traction epicyclic transmission for high-speed motors in EV. Day 2, 3pm, EV Concepts Stream
“The 16th CTI Symposium is an excellent forum for international transmission and drive experts to exchange opinions, providing a valuable status update and glimpse into the future. This year’s programme will hear mobility, drivetrain and transmission specialists discuss how future mobility requirements will change the powertrain and transmissions industry.” (transmission-symposium.com)
