DSD wins Engine Test Facility of the Year award from Automotive Testing Technology International
Drive System Design (DSD) is proud to announce that it has won the 2017, Automotive Testing Technology International (ATTI), Engine Test Facility of the Year award. This is the second major award for the company celebrating its 10th year of business in 2017, following its success in the British Engineering Excellence Awards as Consultancy of the Year.
“We’re delighted that ATTI has recognised the significant investment channelled into our electrified powertrain and driveline test facility over the past year,” says Alex Tylee-Birdsall, Director, Drive System Design. “It’s an extremely exciting time to be a part of the automotive industry, even more so that we get to be at the cutting edge of powertrain innovation for the next generation of electric vehicles.”
DSD has recorded significant growth throughout the year, with its workforce increasing by 40%. Further to this, the development of its hybrid and electric vehicle testing capabilities has increased through the addition of three new test cells, which include an Engine Torque Pulse Simulation (ETPS) machine and new battery emulator.
